Once 360°* media files are added to the timeline you can produce them right away, or make some edits to the media files.

Note: * this feature is not available in some versions of CyberLink PowerDirector.

When editing 360° video projects, please note the following:

you can add more than one 360° media file on the timeline. In the produced 360° video, the media files will play in the order they are arranged on the timeline. You can use transitions between the media files and add video effects on 360° video, if required.

if you want to change the direction of view at the start of a 360° video clip, you can do this in 360º Start View Setting.

your 360° videos can include 360° compatible title text by adding 360° title effects.

when adding non-360° media files, PiP objects, and title effects to 360° videos, be sure to convert them to 360° for the best results.

see the Editing Your Media section for information on some of the editing you can perform on your 360° media files. You can split, trim, or apply some fixes and enhancements (including fixing shaky 360° video in the Enhanced VR Stabilizer or making color corrections) on 360° video clips that are on the timeline, and more.

in the Action Camera Center you can speed up portions of the 360° video and more.

When you are done editing your 360° video, click the Produce button to produce it, which renders it as a 360° video file. See Producing a 360° Video for more information. You can also upload it directly to YouTube or Vimeo. See Uploading a 360° Video for more information.

Converting Title Effects and Media Clips to 360°

When adding non-360° title effects, videos, images, and PiP objects to your 360° video projects, for the best results you can convert them to 360° clips.

Note: 3D title effects cannot be converted to 360°.

To convert a non-360° title effect for use in a 360° video project, right-click on it in the timeline and then select Convert to 360° Title. To convert a non-360° media clip, right-click on it in the timeline and then select Convert to 360° Object.

Note: to convert a clip back to the original format, just right-click on it and then select Convert to 2D Title/Object.

Once converted to 360°, you can customize the 360° position of the title effect or PiP media clip in the 360° environment in the Title Designer and PiP Designer respectively.
