In the Ad Designer you will find two types of ad templates:
•Ad Templates for Stories: these templates are comprised of single scene predesigned videos with elements you can modify or replace. They are designed specifically for Facebook and Instagram stories, and you cannot add more scenes to these types of templates.
•Ad Templates with Scenes: these templates are comprised of a number of scenes. These scenes can be re-arranged and added as required. To learn more about ad template scenes, see Ad Templates with Scenes.
Some of the ad templates found in the Ad Designer contain a number of scenes. These templates contain the following types of scenes:
•opening scene
•middle scenes
•closing scene
Opening and closing scenes cannot be added or removed from an ad template, but you can add, remove, and rearrange the middle scenes. Each scene contains media clips, as well as titles and other effects. You can click on the default titles and other effects in scenes to move them, resize them, or delete them as required.
Note: if you'd like to add content before the opening scene, or after the closing scene, you can do this in Advanced Editing after you finish creating your video. |
You can add additional middle scenes or color boards to an ad template. To add scenes in the Ad Designer, do this
1.Click the button.
2.Select one of the available middle scenes, or you can select the Color board option to add a color board.
3.If required, enable the Continue from last clip option when adding scenes if you want the media clip from the previous scene to continue into the new scene.
4.Click OK to add the selected scene/color board.
Editing Added Color Boards
When you add a color board to an ad template, you have the following editing options:
•click to set the color of the color board by selecting one of the basic colors, using the color picker to choose a color, or by typing in the desired HSL or RGB values.

•click to add text onto the color board. See Adding and Editing Text in a Scene for more details.
