You can manually change the size, position, and orientation of the media clip or object in a PiP effect. The resizing options are unrestricted. You can reduce the clip to miniature size or enlarge it to completely obscure any underlying media content on the timeline.

To modify media clip size, position, or orientation:
Note: hold down the Alt key on your keyboard when moving or resizing media clips/objects in the PiP Designer to temporarily turn off the snap to feature for smoother movement and placement. |
•click and drag one of the eight resizing nodes to resize the media clip.
Note: depending on which resizing node you select, the media clip will resize differently. See Resizing Media Clips for more information. |
•click on the media clip and then drag it to a new position.
•click anywhere on the circle surrounding the plus sign in the middle of the media clip and then drag it left or right to change its orientation, i.e. to rotate it.
•click and drag the blue nodes in corners to change its shape. See Changing the Shape of Media for more information.
