Resizing and Moving Images/Videos/PiP Objects

In the project preview window or the PiP Designer you can resize and move a media clip (image, video, overlay effect) to the desired position on the video image.

Resizing Media Clips

When you select a media clip on the timeline, or open it in the PiP Designer, eight resizing nodes display around the clip.

Click on any of the resizing nodes on the media clip's four corners to maintain the clip's aspect ratio as you resize.

Note: hold down the Alt key on your keyboard when resizing clips in the project preview window/PiP Designer to temporarily turn off the snap to feature for smoother clip movement and placement.

Click on any of the resizing nodes on the media clip's four sides to resize without maintaining the clip's aspect ratio.

Moving Media Clips

To move a media clip in the project preview window/PiP Designer, hover your mouse over it so your mouse cursor is a , and then click and drag it to the position in the video frame where you want it.

Note: hold down the Alt key on your keyboard when moving clips in the project preview window/PiP Designer to temporarily turn off the snap to feature for smoother clip movement and placement.
