You can edit the background music in an ad template by importing your own music or by downloading music from Shutterstock®.

Importing Your Own Background Music

You can replace the sample music in an ad template with your own background music. To import your own background music, do this:

1.In the Ad Designer, click the button.

2.Click the button and then select Import a Music File.

3.Browse to and then select the music on your computer's hard that you want to use.

4.Click Open to import and replace the sample clip.

5.Select the Fade-in option to have the background music gradually fade-in at the beginning of the promotional video.

6.Select the Fade out option to have the background music gradually fade-out at the end of the promotional video.

7.Click OK to set the changes.

Once imported be sure to go to the Ad Designer Video Settings window to set the background music volume level in your promotional video.

Downloading Background Music from Shutterstock®

You can download music from Shutterstock® for use in your promotional video.

To download music from Shutterstock®, do this:

1.In the Ad Designer, click the button.

2.Click the button and then select the Download Media from Shutterstock option.

3.In the Download Media from Shutterstock® window, type in keywords in the search box and then click to search for music on Shutterstock®.

4.Select a music file in the window and then click the play button to preview the track.

5.When you find the background music that you want to use, select it and then click the Download button to download it into the selected scene.

6.Click OK to set the changes.

Once imported be sure to go to the Ad Designer Video Settings window to set the background music volume level in your promotional video.

Downloading Music from Background Music Library

You can download music from CyberLink's background music library for use in your promotional video.

To download music from the background music library, do this:

1.In the Ad Designer, click the button.

2.Click the button.

3.In the Download Background Music window, type in keywords in the search box and then click to search for music.

4.Select a music file in the window and then click the play button to preview the track.

5.When you find the background music that you want to use, select it and then click the OK button to download it into the selected scene.

6.Click OK to set the changes.

Once imported be sure to go to the Ad Designer Video Settings window to set the background music volume level in your promotional video.
