Click the button and then on the Motion Graphics tag to view the available motion graphics titles. These titles contain animated graphics with your title text.
The available editing options for motion graphics titles are more limited than for other title effect templates.
To edit the title text, just select one of the title tracks in the preview window to enable editing in the box on the left.
Once selected, enter the title text you want on that title track in the field provided.
Note: you cannot add additional title tracks to motion graphics titles. |
You can edit the title text font face and weight just below the title text box. To edit the color of the text for the selected title track, click the colored rectangle in the Title section. In the color picker window, choose one of the basic colors or enter the color's HSL or RGB color code in the fields provided. Click OK to use the new color.
You can also click the button to use the eye dropper to select a font color from the preview window. Use the playback controls to find the frame in the background video that has the color you want to use, and then use the eye dropper to select it. Click OK to use the new color.
Some motion graphics titles let you modify one or more of the graphics colors in the title template. If the Graphics Color panel is not available, that means none of the graphics colors can be edited.
To change a graphics color, click the colored rectangle next to it. In the color picker window, choose one of the basic colors or enter the color's HSL or RGB color code in the fields provided. Click OK to use the new color.
You can also click the button to use the eye dropper to select the graphics color from the preview window. Use the playback controls to find the frame in the background video that has the color you want to use, and then use the eye dropper to select it. Click OK to use the new color.
In the Object Settings panel you can use the X and Y Position fields to set the precise location of the motion graphics title on the video image. You can also click and drag it to different positions in the preview window.
Use the Scale sliders to change the size of the motion graphics title, or you can manually resize it in the preview window by clicking and dragging its white resize points around its edges.
Note: select the Maintain aspect ratio option if you want to ensure the motion graphics title's aspect ratio does not change while you are moving or resizing it. Deselect this option if you want to change the motion graphics title's shape or alter its aspect ratio. |
To rotate the motion graphics tile, input the rotation amount in the Rotation field and then press the enter key on your keyboard. You can also manually rotate it by clicking on above the motion graphics title, and then dragging it right or left to rotate it and change its orientation.
