While previewing media in the library or your video project, click to take a screen snapshot and save it as an image file that's added to your media library. The resolution of project timeline screen snapshots is as follows:

Note: if you want the screen snapshot to be the same resolution as the original video clip, take it while the clip is in the media library. See Capturing Screen Snapshot from a Video Clip for more details. |
You can also take a 3D* screen snapshot (just enable 3D mode) and then save it as an MPO or JPS image file.

Before taking the snapshot, you can set its file format (and default filename) on the File Preferences tab.
