On the particle object Properties tab you can change the parameters of for all of the particles in the particle object.

Modifying Parameters

Use the following Modify Parameters to customize the properties of the particle object as follows:

•Emit rate: use the slider to set the rate or speed the particles emit from the source point. Drag the slider right to speed them up, or left to slow them down.

•Max count: use the slider to modify the amount of particles that emit from the source point. Drag the slider right to increase the number of particles, or left to decrease the number.

•Life: use the slider to set the life, or how long the particles display in the effect. The shorter the life, the shorter amount of time each particle displays before fading out. Drag the slider right to increase the particle life, or left to decrease the particle life.

•Size: use the slider to set the size of the particles. Drag the slider right to increase their size, or left to decrease their size.

•Speed: use the slider to set the speed of the particles on the video. Drag the slider right to speed them up, or left to slow them down.

•Opacity: use the slider to set the opacity of the particles. Drag the slider right to make them more opaque, or left to make them more transparent.
