New Add-On Feature: Analytics Dashboard

FaceMe® Security leverages existing video surveillance infrastructure, through direct access from store IP cameras or integration with the store’s video management solution. The new Analytics Dashboard add-on feature provides valuable in-store customer insights, enabling retailers to better understand shopper behavior at each location.

The Analytics Dashboard delivers individual store data analytics, including:

  • The number of visitors per day
  • Peak shopping hours
  • Gender distribution of customers
  • Age ranges of customers

Understanding the customer traffic at different times and locations enables retailers to fine tune marketing promotions, coordinate staffing as needed, and adjust merchandising more effectively. The data can be reviewed by selecting date ranges and also filtered by specific cameras.

New Enhanced Map View for Effective Tracking of Persons of Interest

FaceMe® Security 7.16 also provides new updates for viewing People Tracker Add-On search results. Users now can import building maps or floor plans, providing easier visualization and tracking of individuals across multiple cameras. With this enhanced feature, the search results are displayed on the map directly, showing the time and location of sightings from each camera.  With this mapped visual display of the search results, it is easier to see the footprints of the person of interest and helps improve response times.

People Tracker is available as an Add-On module of FaceMe® Security, or separately as a stand alone software, providing flexibility for users according to their needs.

High-Flexibility Management for Enhanced Security

One key feature of FaceMe® Security is real-time alert notification of a blocklisted person (i.e. shoplifter, trespasser, etc.). FaceMe® Security 7.16 now supports sharing blocklist enrollment across multiple centrals, particularly beneficial for managing multiple locations. Synchronization of blocklist data can be initiated automatically or manually updated by users. For instance, if an incident just occurred, such as someone stole leather jackets from Store X, the store’s loss prevention team can immediately input the shoplifter’s facial image into the blocklist database and share it with other FaceMe® Security’s centrals in their network. If the same person of interest attempts to enter a different location of Store X, the loss prevention team at that location would be notified immediately to take preventative action.

More Updates

FaceMe® Security 7.16 additionally includes the following updates:

  • Support playback video footage recorded from Network Optix’ Nx Witness
  • Manage and configure cameras with person-of-interest functionality
  • Enhanced user flow for installation and setup with Axis Camera Station Pro VMS
  • Support for MSK Knoctoi Lite face terminal access control device
  • Support landscape view UI on face-terminal Add-On
  • New Notification Monitor support with Nx Witness VMS

“The newly launched Analytics Dashboard and enhanced Map View deliver significant value to the retail industry by boosting in-store security and enhancing the shopping experience,” said Mei Guu, President of CyberLink Business Unit 2. “These innovations empower users to effectively track persons of interest and leverage data-driven analytics, making FaceMe® Security the premier solution for retailers to optimize operations and safeguard their businesses.”
